Lane Performance (ISO)

Overview

Imagine you’re trying to win a high-value lane with a demanding shipper. The rates are tight, the competition is fierce, and the shipper doesn’t just want the cheapest option, they want confidence that their freight will be handled reliably. With Intelligence, rates are now paired with real-world service metrics: on-time pickup, on-time delivery, bad bounce rates, and an overall Performance Score.

You don’t have to pick blindly between price and reliability — you see the hard data side by side. And when you need coverage fast, Triumph Capacity surfaces new carriers already proven in the market, complete with service scores.

Lane Performance

You can find lane performance metrics directly under the Rates section. These metrics show data from the last six months. These metrics are for your brokerage. (You can find carrier-specific metrics under Capacity on Tap.) Included broker metrics are:

  • Performance Score: a composite score combining OTP, OTD, and Bad Bounce

  • On-time pickup percentage (OTP)

  • On-time delivery percentage (OTD)

  • Bad bounce percentage: the % of shipments where a carrier was unassigned 4 hours prior to scheduled pickup

  • Volume: Your brokerage's volume for the lane

Next to each metric, we display your ranking within the overall market, showing how your loads have performed in the past compared to competitors'.

Carrier-Specific Performance in Top Carriers

Some customers will be looking for the lowest price, and others will prefer a high service standard. Carrier-specific performance metrics bring price and performance together for easy comparison, so you can make the right choice for every customer.

You can find carrier-specific performance metrics under Top Carriers in Capacity on Tap. This shows performance metrics on a carrier-by-carrier basis for carriers you've worked with before on the lane in the prediction. When you find the right combination of price and service, you can request a bid directly from Capacity on Tap.

Carrier-specific performance metrics include:

  • Performance Score: a composite score combining OTP, OTD, and Bad Bounce

  • On-time pickup percentage (OTP)

  • On-time delivery percentage (OTD)

  • Bad bounce percentage: the % of shipments where a carrier was unassigned 4 hours prior to scheduled pickup

Triumph Capacity in Capacity On Tap

Capacity on Tap highlights external carriers that have moved freight on the same lane. It is powered by both the Triumph network and the ISO data network, so service scores can be shown for carriers you haven't previously used. The metrics include the same performance measures as above, plus lead time averages. Only carriers with a proven history of loads across multiple brokerages are included.

When you find the right combination of price and service for the customer, you can quickly request a bid from these carriers through Capacity on Tap.
