Verified Buy Rate vs. Market Rate

Where do we get them, and what's the difference?

Updated this week

Overview

The Verified Buy Rate is the rate that AI model predicts for your brokerage for a specific lane.

The Market Buy Rate is a general market rate from the Triumph network.

The Verified Buy Rate and the Market Rate are based on different data. The Verified Buy Rate is based on historical data from your particular brokerage and reflects your company's history and buying power. The Market Rate is based on data from the Triumph Network. It gives you an idea of the general market rate for a lane.

The Triumph Network

The Triumph Network is composed of all Triumph customers. We never share data from any one customer. Any network data is aggregated from multiple customers and presented anonymously to give each user an idea of what's going on in the general market. GS Network predictions are not biased toward any one customer.

You can track Market Rates over time on the Network tab.

Why We Include Both Rates

Sometimes a brokerage doesn't have much historical data for a lane. In these cases, the Market Rate can provide an alternate rate backed by aggregated data. It also allows you to compare the rate predicted for your brokerage with the general rate in the market.
